Rabbits 04:34
RABBITS I could be the god, you could be the lamb, take you by the throat, etc.
2.
USA Today 01:39
USA TODAY Like a ten year old from dance class bounding from the door, or an unrelenting headache ringing from the night before, the ceaseless screaming railway clatter cracking down the line, the claustrophobic herd will crush the streets at 8 and 5, until...Rushing around caffeinated high on time and place, alarm clock slack and schedule weary dripping down your face. The buzzing in your pocket calling to mind obligation. You'll never be the mom or dad who gets to take vacation. Because..

Actual Women 02:19
ACTUAL WOMEN Hip checking car doors and locking up apartments, actual woman with places to go. Drop off the rent check and pick up some groceries, no time today to take anything slow. Looking for parking or creeps on the subway, 500,000 of one, half a million of another. Single mom, double mastectomy, don't tell her she's prettier when she smiles, motherfucker. Crows feet tell the world I've got a sense of humor, the operation shows the world does too. It's social, cosmetic, economic, expected, it's lonely and unrelenting but not something she's regretted. She laughs alone, despite the world's laughter. Making women's art, doing women's work.
4.
All Ages 01:38
ALL AGES Let's talk about getting out of school, let's talk about getting a job. Talk about fucking off your boss, talk about not needing your mom. Talk about love's first blush and the first time you eat shit. Let's balance the checks and regrets, the least worst you can hope for is the best that you can get, at 21, 31, 41, etc.
5.
Shift Tense 03:23
SHIFT TENSE Check the weather, feign offense. Light another. Eloquence. It's getting older than you meant to let it get. Check the heat. Kettle's on. Neighbors' window's curtains yawn. It's getting later than you meant to let it get. Note the traffic's slow parade. Recurring characters, assessments made. It always gets sooner than you'd like to admit. Dinner's cooling, rent is late. No guest are coming. Deteriorate. You didn't really wanna wash all those dishes anyway. Change of plans, try to think. Clear the table. Countersink. Who really has birthday parties at your age? Drinks drunk. Mood's passed. Stains are setting, turn on the gas. Fuck it, break the glasses and don't even sweep up the mess.
6.
LOW ENFORCEMENT Fenced lots, price drops. Cracked glass, call cops. Wrong place, wrong time, sign your name, pay a fine. Brand name, broken zone, inner city tract home. Used clothes, new scene, stretch east, 2019. Court date, tempt fate. Too broke, too late. Shut off notice. Low art, high rent. Checks bounced, checkmate, modern problems, we got replaced.

On Hold 01:37
ON HOLD Straight out of where the fish first took to land to a food cart in Washington square, there ain't no wonder in this at all. We had to send dirty cops to Iceland to teach them how to cope with killing a man. Right about 5 clicks from the fall. Now I'm stationed at a corner working lookout, across the street from a halfway house. Interpretations of the law keeping food in the baby's mouth. I'd kill my mother for the 2nd amendment. I'm working part time in a mine. There ain't no wonder in this at all. Now there's a glass deathstar for every pawnshop, and the rest is all red lines. Right about two clicks from the fall. Now I'm shopping for a smarter telephone. I'm buying organic beer. I'm consolidating student loans, waiting for a customer service rep on hold.
8.
Weatherman 01:19
WEATHERMAN The adviser has got a problem, just another fucking thing she has do. Do the laundry, making phone calls, while her self-important husband forecasts weather on the news. She defends him to her coworkers: lighten up, it's just a fucking job. Take an umbrella, wear your sunglasses. You'll always find a way to be unhappy with your day. How can one man be so fucking wrong all the time?
9.
Game Over 01:03
GAME OVER So alive culturally, little house on the BQE. We all still lock our doors at night. Expensive, local, everything. Live/work Coney Island to Queens. I hope this “health” makes you feel alright. Unpaid internship. Unlimited minutes. Unpaid stacks of bills. Tip the bartender well. What's your rent? How many square feet? What's the train stop? What's the cross street? Work from home, don't work at all.
