It's getting later than you meant to let it get. Note the traffic's slow parade. Recurring characters, assessments made. It always gets sooner than you'd like to admit. Dinner's cooling, rent is late. No guest are coming. Deteriorate. You didn't really wanna wash all those dishes anyway. Change of plans, try to think. Clear the table. Countersink. Who really has birthday parties at your age? Drinks drunk. Mood's passed. Stains are setting, turn on the gas. Fuck it, break the glasses and don't even sweep up the mess.
